BMW M5 CS Said To Come Later This Year With 641 Horsepower

Prepare to fork out more than $120,000, BMW took the wraps off the facelifted 5 Series less than a month ago, and yet we’ve already seen our fair share of performance versions based on the LCI. The Alpina B5 and D5 S were released a couple of weeks ago in both sedan and wagon flavors, followed by BMW’s own M5 and M5 Competition models. Should you want the absolute top-of-the-line variant, it’s apparently coming later this year when the M5 CS is expected to break cover.....

It's called the GPV Colonel, and it was originally manufactured by a company called General Purpose Vehicles in Michigan. A quick internet search shows the manufacturer builds several such vehicles designed for military use, but exactly how Yadlowsky and his partners came upon this particular machine is something of a mystery. Another quick internet search shows Yadlowsky and GPV headquarters are only about 45 miles apart, so that could have something to do with it.. ....
