2019 Honda CR-V Recalled for Randomly Deploying Airbags!

These specific 2019 CR-V models, built between October 3, 2018, and April 1, 2019, have a problem with their airbag wiring harnesses, which are routed around the steering wheel's metal core. In a manufacturing defect that Honda has spotted and corrected on the production line, rough metal edges, or burrs, can cause the harnesses to short-circuit.

I dread taking my car to a mechanic because I always walk away feeling like the mechanic over diagnoses me, overcharges me or treats me like an idiot. Junior's was the opposite. Very friendly and interested in my car.
It's called the GPV Colonel, and it was originally manufactured by a company called General Purpose Vehicles in Michigan. A quick internet search shows the manufacturer builds several such vehicles designed for military use, but exactly how Yadlowsky and his partners came upon this particular machine is something of a mystery. Another quick internet search shows Yadlowsky and GPV headquarters are only about 45 miles apart, so that could have something to do with it.. ....
Daimler said the fault affects the fuse in some of its A, B, C, and E-class cars as well as its CLA, GLA and GLC vehicles and could cause them to overheat in "unique conditions".
